We discussed possible programs for the fall:
- Reading buddies/pals
- homework club
- monthly teen programs (3rd Saturday of each month @2:30 pm)
SEPT - chess and board games
OCT - mind games
- October mystery night

The bulk of our time was spent on Spring Fest prep.
- Can made bubble wands for the Bubbles station with a little help from others.
- Josh, Jahangir, and Andy finished up the Scavenger Hunt clues
- Anthony & Abdi came up with sentence starters for the Book Reviews station

We still need volunteers - 2 per station. Ask your friends if they need some volunteer hours.
And let me know before you bring them.

Vampire Kisses and Teenage Mermaid author Ellen Schreiber will stop by Cascades Library to chat with her many fans. Learn all the funky facts behind creating the fantastic characters of Alexander and Raven. Books will be available for sale and signing.

We ate sandwiches and discussed some things on the library web page.

Help name the new Rust Library teen center. Win prizes too, like a Flip video camera!
